Prior to installing remove all existing Minitab programs from your computer. For instructions on how to uninstall the Minitab program, see Minitab 15: Trial Expired.

To install a CD:

1. Insert the Minitab CD into your computer CD/DVD ROM Drive. The installation wizard is displayed and begins the software installation.
2. If the CD does not launch automatically:
   1. Open Windows Explorer.
   2. Click the 'CD/DVD Drive' (usually D:\ or E:\ drive).
   3. Browse the contents of the CD.
   4. To manually launch the installation Wizard, find and double-click the .exe file.
3. At the prompt, click the Next button.
4. To accept the license agreement, choose the appropriate statement and click the Next button.
5. By default, Minitab will install to the C:\Program Files\MINITAB pathway. It is strongly recommended that you allow Minitab to install in this directory or the D:\Program Files folder.
6. Enter your 19 digit Product Key for the software.
7. Click the Next button.

   To get your Product Key:

   1. Sign in to the website from where you purchased the software.
   2. At the top of the page, click the Your Account link.
   3. In the Order History section, select the Minitab software that you purchased and click the View Details link. The product key is displayed in the Order Summary section.
   
    
8. To select the destination folder of the installation and create a shortcut to your desktop, click the Advanced button.
9. To continue click the Next button. The installation files are copied and the software is installed on your computer.
10. Once the installation is complete, you are prompted to reboot your compute.
11.  If you will restart your computer manually, select Yes. Otherwise, select No.
12. Once the installation has finished, a confirmation window is displayed.
13. Click the Finish button.
