This message may appear if you have previously installed Minitab 15 on your machine, and you are attempting to install a new license. You will first need to uninstall the Minitab 15 program (including Minitab 15 30-Day Trial, etc.) from your machine before you can install the new Minitab 15 license.
To successfully install the new license for Minitab 15.

Remove any previously installed Minitab programs

Delete any remaining files
To remove any previously installed Minitab 15 programs:

Open the Control Panel and go to 'Add/Remove Programs'.

Find Minitab 15 and click Change/Remove.

Once the uninstallation has finished, re-boot your computer.

After the reboot, ensure that the files have been removed by checking to see if Minitab still appears in the list in the Add/Remove Programs window. Repeat steps 1-3 if the program still appears.
To delete any remaining files:

Delete all previously downloaded Delivery Client executable files (purple icon with a lightning bolt in it).

Delete all Minitab files found in the C:\Temp or C:\Program Files folders.
