Expression Blend 2 is the professional design tool to create engaging web-connected experiences for Windows.


To use Microsoft Expression Blend 2, you need:



  • Microsoft Windows® XP with Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista™ operating system (all editions)

  • PC with Pentium or AMD processor, 1 GHz with MMX or equivalent

  • 512 MB of RAM or more

  • 150 MB of available hard disk space

  • Microsoft DirectX® 9.0–capable video card with 256MB or more of memory—for example, ATI Radeon X300 or NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600 class equivalent or better

  • DVD-ROM drive

  • 1024 × 768 or higher resolution monitor with 24-bit color
